I recently came across a story about famous violinist Joshua Bell playing in a metro station.
He showed up and began playing some of the most challenging pieces of classical music, on an instrument that costs millions.
Few people stopped to listen to his music or tip him, but this lack of recognition doesn’t change his ability as a renowned musician.
It simply reinforces that we have to ensure we are in the right room to be valued for what we bring to the table.
If you do not feel valued where you are, look around, you might be in the wrong room - go where you are valued.
